This documentation will walk you through how to set up and use Quetzal for Next.js and React applications

Getting your product translated generally takes four steps:

Create a Quetzal Project

Sign up for Quetzal and you will be prompted to create a project. This will grant you access to the Project Dashboard

Install Quetzal

Install the appropriate Quetzal packages for your stack

(Optional) Install the VSCode/Cursor Extension

Wrap your strings

Use the i18n framework of your choice to replace bare strings with a translation function. We currently support next-intl, lingui, and vue-i18n

You're all set!

By default, Quetzal will fetch translations and keep them up to date whenever you run a build
